Wirkung:
Amethyst kommt vom griechischen Wort "amethein" und bedeutet in etwa "vor Trunkenheit schützen". Er fördert die Konzentration, Reinheit und Ruhe und wirkt schmerzlindernd. Bei Müdigkeit wirkt er aufbauend. Er ist auch bekannt als Schutzstein und soll den Träger vor Gefahren schützen. Traditionell wurde dieser Stein gerne als Freundschaftsstein verschenkt, da er Freundschaften verstärkt.

Properties:
The amethyst originates from the greek "amethein" which basically means "guarding against drunkenness/drowsiness". It charges concentration, pureness and calmness as well as it is soothing. It helps with tiredness and protects the wearer against possible dangers. Traditionally this stone was exchanged between friends as it amplifies true friendships.
